Mamaerth micellar water - Review

Image
Mamaearth's micellar water foaming makeup remover is something I was waiting to try and was very excited about it. This makeup remover contains rose water and glycolic acid which gently removes makeup buildup and exfoliates the skin too. . 🌟 This remover helps me skip the cottonbuds i used earlier, a step towards the environment. 🌟 The brush is gentle and delicate on the skin 🌟 Removed daily makeup effectively and easily 🌟 Suitable for all skins 🌟 Paraben and SLS free 🌟 Dermatologically tested What concerned me - ⚡ Does not work effectively on heavy makeup, had to use coconut oil to melt it further. ⚡The smell of rose disturbed my nerves as I am allergic to it. ⚡ The brush came out often when used rigorously. ⚡ Leaves the colour of my lipstick on the brush, though there are directions to wash the brush, i was not quite satisfied Finally take: It is a good buy for daily makeup but definitely not heavy makeup and long lasting ones. Available on their website , Amazon and Nyk

You can never judge a book by its cover!! . I have to admit! First impression is not always the last impression. If you have been following me from quite a while now you will know I was not a fan of Mamaearth Onion range. I used Mamaearth's Onion Hair Mask once earlier and I felt the smell was too strong but then after my sister's insistence of giving it a try again(because it loved it), I used it few more times and boy! I am liking it now. I cannot claim if it helped in hair growth but I really saw less and less of hairfall after every wash. Earlier, bunch of hairs used to run off with every wash and now only few strands. I am already sold toMamaearth's claim off being natural and toxin free but now I am sold to their onion range too.

Honestly I was never a fan of detective books. I knew about Sherlock Holmes but never had any interest in reading them until I got hand on our very own Indian Hero, Shrilok Homeless by Penguinindia . This book is Vol 2 of the series of the books of same name by Pika Nani. His passion now takes him to London to find out a solution to a series of mysteries. But what makes Shrilok point a gun on his best friend and confidante? This book has interesting cases and unbelievable answers to the mysteries. It makes an easy read which got me so intrigued that I finished it in one go. The language is simple and easy for teenagers to catch attention. Priced at Rs.150 Recommended for kids 10 years and above. Available on Amazon and Penguinindia  website.

Flyaway Boy by Jane De Suza - Book Review

What happens when you are not expected by the society the way you are? What if you think out of the said box the society has set? Do you feel free or feel cornered? Does the society really let you be yourself and let you live like you want? . 'Flyaway Boy' by Jane De Suza is story of one such boy, Kabir, who is different from the kids of his age. He doesn't fit in the boxes created by the world, not in his school, not in family and not in the town he lives in. But what happens when he suddenly vanishes?  Will they really know where he is or did he even exist? . This book is one good piece of literature with an amazing story about letting one be oneself and learn - relearn on their own pace. The language is simple yet strong. Love the illustrations with words and abstracts. The story has humour, suspense and a message. . Recommended for kids 10years and above but especially for adults who are shaping kids - parents and teachers. . .

Mamaearth Sunscreen for babies - Review

Image
We are holidaying!! And though it's a chill place, I can never be ignorant about the fact that, sunrays, st some point of the day, can be harmful for my son's skin. . Coz higher the altitude, larger the exposure to UV rays. These areas receive direct sunrays. Though they are in winter clothes, their hands and faces are to be protected and I have trusted Mamaearth as always. It's first time that I have used their travel sized Sunscreen which I received few days back. . Why a different Sunscreen for babies than adult? Baby sunscreen contains active ingredients that protect both baby and adult skin from the sun's rays. The biggest difference is that baby sunscreen is usually a mineral or physical sunscreen as opposed to a chemical sunscreen which gets absorbed into the skin. . Mamaearth Mineral Sunscreen for babies contain Zinc Oxide which acts as the physical barrier substance between the sunrays and baby skin. It provides SPF 20+ which protects the skin
