Heal Soul Anoona

Image
Summer is officially here and also are summer trips and holidays. Step out with your munchkin without the fear of harsh heat rays. I always use the hooded cover when i am out in sun. It protects J from the harmful rays and also gives him visibility of the surroundings. Also, it looks well as a cover when I am breastfeeding him on the go. It's a detachable hood as I can remove it when I know it's not needed. Its a win-win situation for us. This is Heal Anoona, from Soul’s new series of Gradient carriers. I loved hosting this carrier and was mesmerised by its colour. I have to admit I didn't want to let go of it. Check Soul Slings for a wide variety of carriers and accessories.

Rekindle love

Sometime s you can't let go. It's been 2 days I parted with this beautiful Heal Anoona by Soul, which I was hosting as a Travelling Carrier. I loved the colours and how seamlessly its gradations were. The carrier was light and airy and we had great time hosting it. Why is it so special for me? Well, when I was packing it, to be sent to the next host, to spread love and cuddles, my husband told me "I must admit this carrier looked beautiful on you". And there, I was blushing with rosy cheeks. It was quite surprising for me because I, foolishly, thought he has stopped noticing me. But hell No, he does notice me and he does it every time. Well this beautiful gradient Anoona by Soul Slings  has become more special as not only it provided love and cuddles to my baby but also rekindled the romance which I felt is fading away. Thank you Soul for this everlasting memory.

Lacing Art

Did you know the journey to be correctly be able to write starts before your child actually even know to form letters and shapes? It's the lacing activities. It starts with strength in of fine motor skills. With grasp the tip of the ribbon, they are building their pincer grip which is crucial for writing skills. They also learn patterns through the act of lacing or weaving.  I recently bought this dressing up lacing book for Yuv. It helps us have good fine motor skilling up and also improves the concentration. Lacing helps in developing the hand-eye coordination and also use both the hands accordingly as you push the shoe string with one hand and pull with other. I teach him push/pull concept too. It also helps him learn as to how much energy he has to apply to push and pull certain amount of string. And also how to tie knots and make patterns. You can make a DIY lacing kit at home too. All you need is- ✂️ A felt sheet or a hard card paper. ✂️ A p

Sunday Beach Evening!

Image
I must admit but this was the second time we took Yuv to beach in his 4years (I know, Our bad), and Baby J's first time at the Beach. I was too excited because its been around 5 years or more I visited the Marina beach. Yuv had fun at the rides, had popcorn, buddi ka baal (i mean the white soan papdi, πŸ™ˆ since, childhood we have been calling it buddhi ka baal), bhutta, spicy sweet corn, maanga with their gsignature masala, and how can you not have sundal when you go to beach. Finally, ice-creams 🍦in the end. So basically, we were like on a food walk at the beach πŸ˜‰ Coming back to Yuv, he played with the sand castle and messy play to his heart's content. Baby J had good time watching us. (Atleast I think so). I had relaxed time at the beach. Thanks to Soul Slings and their carriers . I did not have to carry J and move on the sand with heavy feet. Also, when we were sitting, J was in his front forward carrying which made him look around all the amazing activities. Hd

Letter to my Younger Self

Image
Dear Young Nee, I write this letter to you on my bed after putting both the kids to sleep, piling up all the clothes to be washed in the laundry bag, clearing the floors of the toys, also the tiniest blocks which came under my feet thrice in the last hour, saying bye to the dishes to-be washed staring at me in the kitchen sink. No, I am not cribbing about it. Life has become lovely with my two boys and a doting husband. Please take what's useful from this letter and leave what's not. I know you are quite stubborn and won't heed to most of my advices. But I am still trying my luck. To make it easier and short for you, I am writing this letter in points. πŸ’Œ I know you are quite confused after high school, as to which path/career choice to make. But whatever you choose you shall thrive in it only if you be head-strong for it. Your heart is into Media, so do take it up. Going out of the norms and regular is what you are made up of. πŸ’Œ Unhear all the shit advices you g

Happy Holi Anoona

It's Baby J's first holi and how could we not celebrate it. In India, we love to celebrate every festival with utmost joy and when it's your baby's first celebration, you tend to make it more special. We had a Holi party to attend and as always I get the most excited as I love this festival. We had to travel at the outskirts of the city and I could not leave J at home. I wanted to celebrate with him but was shit scared of colors on his skin. We were to attend a dry Holi party wherein no water was to be used/wasted while playing. (Yes, that's the most wise decision taken). This made my decision easier. I quickly picked my most important and trusted Soul Anoona Carrier and set for the party. Oh my my , and how did we roll at the party. Not only the carrier looked classy, it helped us protect Baby J from the colours and sunlight so well. We clipped the hood and he was all covered but can have the clear view of the whole party without being disturbe
