Superbottoms Plus Review
I am now a self proclaimed Cloth Diapering Addict and how come I have not reviewed the SuperBottoms Plus yet. So here it is.
But before that if you have not read why I made the conscious decision to switch to Cloth Diapering from Disposables and why you should too make the switch. Read the blog here.

SuperBottoms – The Brand
An Indian Brand that is run by an all-time team. It is India's first CPSIA(Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act) certified brand. Their diapers are Super Trim (30% trimmer than other brands) and quite affordable too. They sell diapers in New Born and free/one sizes.
Packaging
Superbottoms take a conscious effort to be gentle to the environment and their pacjaging is just on that line too. They pack their diapers in this reusable cloth pouch which can later be used for various reasons.
SuperBottoms Plus – The AIO
SuperBottoms Plus , as it’s called, is an All-In-One diaper. These are mainly used for medium to heavy wetters. Used for babies weighing from 5kgs to 17kgs, they come with 3 levels of absorbency.
1. The attached Soaker, made With 3 layers of bamboo cotton topped with dry-feel suede, this is good for day-time use and will last upto 3 hours.
2. Booster with a snap. This booster is a 4layer bamboo cotton which is attached with a help of a snap. In total, it gives you a 7 layer of bamboo cotton and can last up to 7-8 hours after good prepping. For us, it works till 10hours, and lasts whole night as J is a medium wetter.
3. Back pocket for an additional hemp booster. Adding a 4 layer hemp soaker in the pocket will get you whooping 11layers of absorbency. This can last whole night for heavy wetters too.
Print
The print, in the pictures , is called Colours of India. It is has quite bright colours and very Indian. They have variety of prints, which are quirky and Indianised. Check them here.
Fit
SuperBottoms Plus has 12 snaps in front, 4 rows with 3 in each row, meant for reducing size. The size must be such that there are NO GAPS around the thigh. The fit is very important to ensure No leakage. The elastics are narrow and stay fit at the waist and tights without leaving any marks.
They are generously sized for larger babies too.
My take –
• They are easy to use. For the day, I just snap them on my Baby’s bum with one attached soaker and we are set.
• Once the right fit is snapped they are snug and leak proof
• The Suede layer on top is Dry feel layer which does not let the baby feel wet.
• 100 % washable and machine washable too, which makes it very easy to maintain.
• They do not take much time to dry, as compared to other brands, and can be fan dried. But I recommend Sun-drying aa it’s an excellent disinfectant.
• The diaper is quite breathable and definitely prevents rashes.
Note :
The diaper has to be prepped before using it. Ensure that you wash it atleast 3-4 times to reach to its full absorbency. It only gets better with each use.
Make sure you snap the diaper for perfect fit or else it will look bulky. However, it won’t affect its functionality.
Superbottoms has taken me a step closer to Sustainable living and I love the fact that I am taking a consious effort to make some positive changes to the environment. At first, it might look a task to you but when you start using it, I am sure you will thank yourself for the step you took.
